Happy Christmas to all the Oriental (Eastern) Christians who celebrate the joyous feast as per the Julian calendar. Today 7 January is 25 December on the old calendar. In the Eastern and Southern European traditions( Polish, Ukrainian, Italian,etc.) the Vigil or Wigilia is a dinner or supper that is a meal of abstinence.
